An inclusive community for wonderful women who care
Care for self, others, earth, spirit and soul. Complex, multidirectional and multifaceted care. Care as a committed and explicit central ethic. Talkpoint Women is an inclusive, intergenerational and cross-cultural community of women united by shared values and a commitment to grow together.
We are kin through listening to and acknowledging the deep intelligence found through more than five senses. Kin through being individually response-able, while knowing we are intrinsically interconnected.
We celebrate, commemorate and bear witness to each other's stories—making the invisible visible through ceremony, circle and processes that validate our humanity and integrate embodied knowing.
We share leadership. We each learn and teach — without dominance. This is not a program with a beginning and an end. It is a Community of Practice. A living, breathing web of connection. A place to belong.
A call to Modern Matriarchs
Within our collective, we honour and call forward a particular kind of woman.
She bridges the past and the future. She understands her value and takes responsibility for the role she plays — in her family, her community and the wider world. Her power is in her long view and presence.
She embodies love, wisdom, non-judgement and deep listening. She keeps stories, ceremonies and ways of being alive — transmitting them to younger generations and tending to the spiritual wellbeing of her community and the earth.
She aspires to Eldership. Not as a destination, but as a way of moving through the world.
You may already be more of a Modern Matriarch than you know.
